Rather than work for The Man, Oklahoma-based industrial designer William Woods opened up his own design firm, IdeationEDGE, with two of his best friends. On his own time, he's worked on folding knife designs you see above. "I have always been fascinated with pocketknife technologies like assist opening and blade locks," Woods writes. "These concepts were meant to blend tactical utility and elegant lines with modern folding knife tech." Check out Woods' full lineup on Coroflot.

Awesome! Love this kinda stuff.
I love the designs, even how he took into consideration the clip placement and orientation so the knife is in a natural position when you take it from your pocket. I have an all black assisted opening kershaw that I love and this looks even more sleek. I'd buy one for sure.
