Serious wine enthusiasts outraged with the introduction of the plastic bottle stopper alternate to corks are going to choke at the thought of wine in a can. That hasn't deterred Swedish designer's Jens Andersson and Jonas Forsman who's single serving prototype can hints at the shape of a wine bottle while offering a huge range of possibilities for graphic treatment.

Nice to see they included the wide-mouth opening which if we're not mistaken was an Australian innovation to get more down faster!

It is a great bad idea for the environment !
More traditional single-serve cans of Sophia Sparkling California Wine are currently available, if wine in a can is your sort of thing. I can attest to the quality of the wine, though I've never had it packaged in a can.
