If you're a woman, and you carry your cell phone in your purse and you live in a city, chances are when it rings in your bag you can't hear it. You can set it on vibrate, but all that does is jangle your compact.
To counter this, Australian New-York-based designer Jimeale Jorgensen has come up with the PhoneFlasher, a series of leather and crystal trinkets that clip to the outside of your purse, rather like a Japanese girl's keitai accessories. When a call or text message comes in, the PhoneFlasher wirelessly picks up the signal and puts on a mini light show.
Available in a variety of patterns, including a picture-frame model. Price, under twenty bucks U.S.
