Back when Palm Pilots (remember those?) were ascendant, we thought business cards would be a thing of the past and that we'd all be beaming each other our info via infrared.
Since that hasn't happened there's the WorldCard Ultra by PenPower, a handy-dandy business card reader that takes care of data entry for you. Stick a card in the slot, the machine does the rest. The Red Dot Design Award winner has multiple language support, and if you've got a Mac, it even drops the info straight into Address Book.

Since this is a design blog, it might be nice to discuss some of the design aspects that make this an award winner. As it stands, it reads like an ad for a card reader with functionality much like any other.
business card reader is an important tool for business associates we can create a different type of business cards
For Mac user, I really like this design. It helps me a lot to and adds business card info into my address book. But I believe Ultra needs more function to support Mac in the future.
I have bought Ultra from web and it really looks good and I use on PC. That is great scanner and scanning fast. Recognition is good enough and I don't bother editing too much.
