yep, the ipad is lovely tablet. but for f*ck's sake this must be the dorkiest use for one. what's next? hobos with an ipad that reads: will work for an ipad recharge?
I think we should be making more things that are smart. Of course, not *everything*: no need for a smart fork. But far more systems than designers are currently imagining should be smart ... human-style smart: thinking, planning, anticipating, predicting.
Why you are talking about sustainability holding an ipad?
Think about it...it is a big contradiction. We as designers need to create solutions not NEEDS.
