Aiptek's My Note digi-notepad can be taken anywhere, to record notes, doodles or any other info that you need captured to upload onto your compy via USB. The device features an approximate 20-hour battery life and is predicted to retail around USD$150. Sorry Apple bunnies...My Note is Windows- compatible only.

Is that paper or a screen? Any links for this?
is this any better than the very similar things currently available?
What kind of files generate?
It's paper, this device has no display on it so it can't be used for reading. I just bought it, and it came with conversion software, because it generates TOP files, which you can convert into many other formats (including image formats). It also works as a PC Tablet and it is an A4 size. When connected to a computer, it doesn't need batteries (except for the wireless pen, of course). It comes with an internal memory capacity of 34MB, but it's expansible through an SD memory card. The only problem with this device is figuring out how to work it when using it as a digital notepad :S The documentation is really a mess and, as far as I've experimented, it doesn't correspond to what the notepad really responds to. I don't know, maybe I got a faulty one, but I just cant get it to create or delete pages. When I start writing it immediately creates page one, but that's it. There's no deleting it or creating other pages. If anyone has a solution to that problem, do respond... Thank you
