PSFK has the lowdown on Wii Spray, a prototype using the Wii controller as a virtual spray can. The project is part of Martin Lihs final thesis at Bauhaus-University in Weimar, Germany and we're hoping he gets a chance to update his site with some samples pictures soon.

It would be way simpler and a lot more cost effective to reverse the wiimote and the sensor bar, so you would have the wiimote on a stand facing you from the tv, and the spray can would only need an infrared LED light or two on it, and they wouldn't have to mangle a wiimote and charge 40 bucks extra for it
I am a graffiti writer, and this is a great idea, hope i can use it in those bad weather days to spray some virtual paint
