Instant gratification with the push of a button, mindless disposability, and automated culinary delight--what's not to like? This clip from a 1967 Philco-Ford Corporation film, "1999 A.D.," portrays the futuristic vision of kitchen culture that we have yet to see (at least in this exact portrayal). We do see a couple things we can relate to though: Video conferencing on flat panels and some sweet mid-century pieces that would still look smokin' hot in our apartments.
