Here's video of "Casulo," the much-hubbubbed-about "apartment in a box" from Marcel Krings & Sebastian Muhlhauser, who won the Abraham & David Roentgen Award with it in November of last year. Young, solo, female apartment-dwellers take note: with everything you need in this 31-by-47 inch box, moving's a snap and boyfriends are about to become obsolete.

hands down.... this daring duo deserves any prize or recognition befitting good design. they hit their brief and accomplished good design at the very least, clean, minimal economical, clever and very urban. the mosaic of solutions all coming together to build a picture is very well thought out. i hope they have not only the talent but also the resources to develop this concept further. perhaps it's already in the works while i speak. good work guys.
"...and boyfriends are about to become obsolete."
And you make this statement because the YouTube video shows two women are setting up the furniture?
