His card doesn't fit in a rolodex, ok, got it. It does however, make for a sweet drink coaster.

JESTERApril 10, 2009 12:00 PM

That was funny! Unfortunately, his card is also crappy! Mine blows his away!!

That's no longer a business card asshole, its a piece of collateral. Jeeze. His thought process is similar to Trump's. "Class"

bbApril 10, 2009 2:19 PM

Back when I used a rolodex (the 90's), if I received a card like his, I would write the pertinent information on a blank white card for my rolodex, and then throw his card away. Otherwise, his information would not be retained. Today information from that card is entered into my database and then I throw the card away. While I agree that a business card should be a quality item, I think that it's purpose had significantly changed these day and a card as his is applicable to fewer and fewer people.

He should guarantee a good laugh instead (I certainly laughed at him - and his "card", too).

And I'm not surprised he guarantees a crowd - clowns certainly attract quite a bit of attention.

This is reminiscent of my favorite scenes in "American Psycho." Hilarious.

I like one of Stefan Sagmeister's old ideas--the blank business card. The point was the interaction while you waited for him to write his info on it. Nice approach focusing on the experience rather than the card itself.

peshueApril 10, 2009 5:12 PM

That'd be a very satisfying business card to throw away.

nApril 11, 2009 12:30 AM

25 years....that's a quarter of your life....for what?

danieleApril 11, 2009 6:59 AM

wow
does it makes good coffee too?

I understand his point but the result is a book for kids heh ehe e

design is not 1+1+1+1+1=5

but design is
1-1-1-1-1=5

that the magic about design
sorry man, your card is just a toy

spoonApril 11, 2009 1:07 PM

The funny thing is this guy is serious

Jeff ArcherApril 11, 2009 1:41 PM

His business card may be expensive, but is video budget sure isn't.

JoshApril 12, 2009 8:38 AM

He's obviously a total wank, but I'll be damned if I don't want to buy something from him.

Dave KingApril 13, 2009 9:05 PM

how are those children on the mantelpiece going to turn out?

JohnApril 15, 2009 8:22 PM

Finally got around to watching the vid. My god, I'm having fun coming up with what his title must be on that card.
