Between developing sustainable fishing communities in the Philippines, to empowering novice furniture makers in Haiti, U.S. designers are revolutionizing the way artisans do business around the world. Join the International Interior Design Association's (IIDA) New York Chapter and the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) to discuss the positive global impact of design at "Pioneering Design: The Global Village", a series of four presentations and a Q&A, followed by a cocktail reception. CEU credits are offered to attendees for use with their professional associations (AIA and IIDA). Speakers will include representatives from MASS Design Group, Interface and West Elm.
Depending on venue capacity, limited tickets may be available at the door of this event for a $10 surcharge over the published ticket price.
