Storing food was the idea that started CHOPS. This installation is comprised of over 100 chopping boards made from recycled plastic. The boards are hanging under the roof of the Royal Palace Garden Pavillion for Dutch Soestdijk Palace's Summer exhibition, BAL!.
Soestdijk was the Palace where Queen Juliana of the Netherlands lived and reigned till 1980. Before her reign, Soestdijk was the home of previous Dutch Kings and Queens. This year, the Palace will get another function — hosting BAL!, which is set up to host over 40 installations of dutch artists, photographers & designers.
(Basically, there's more than just the meat chopping boards here.)
