Redefine your understanding of graphic design with the Insights Design Lecture Series, presenting five leading designers from around the world. The series will take you inside the creative team of one of the world's largest tech companies, through the looking glass with a colorblind illustrator, past the hand-painted signs on the streets of Manila, and behind the scenes at one of world's most anarchic mainstream brands. Dive in to the thinking behind their work, and hang out after the lectures to meet the designers, grab a drink, and chat with your fellow design lovers.
This year's lineup features Google creative lead Rob Giampietro, illustrator Andy Rementer, social-practice studio Office of Culture and Design, and editorial designer Richard Turley, currently at Wieden + Kennedy and formerly of Bloomberg Businessweek and MTV. Copresented by the Walker Art Center and AIGA Minnesota.
Directly following each lecture, attendees can meet the designers and chat with fellow design lovers in the Walker's new Bazinet Main Lobby.
Tuesdays, March 7-28, 7:00 pm
