You are invited to a salon of Pratt Institute's Interior Design Option Lab course that will showcase interdisciplinary student work on Biomimicry and Sustainability. There will be ten design proposals taught by Tetsu Ohara displayed in the gallery; that students will present, to demonstrate nature-inspired design solutions to the site-specific interior environment at Pratt. Tetsu will further complement students' presentations with a mini-lecture on biomimicry.
This event will serve as an opportunity to announce Pratt's School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) new and related offerings that will be open to the public, i.e., the Biomimicry Intensive course and the Design for Indoor Environmental Quality course, that are part of our Two-Week Summer Intensives; and the Sustainable Design Certificate Program to be launched next Fall.
