Last night, the exhibition "Live the dream, the future of sustainable living" launched as part of the Ingeo Earth Month, April 22nd - May 31st.
Featuring Ingeo fiber and NatureWorks PLA, a family of commercially available polymers derived from 100% annually renewable resources, the Material ConneXion Gallery presented a collection of current consumer products that take a responsible approach to design, material development and sourcing as well as fabrication.
Pictured above, Tibuk2's re-release of the Classic Messenger bag utilizing a rewoven nylon that can be recycled into carpeting and a dress from Elisa Jimenez's A/W 06-07 collection comprising of 32 catwalk looks, 20 of which feature the Ingeo fiber.

Ennerev's Xtra-ordinario mattress with "zero emission" credentials uses the Ingeo fiber in both its fill and cover. The Aquavibe water bottle is made from NatureWorks PLA and a 3D Modular wallpaper system by Mio Culturelab is made from 100% post and pre-consumer waste paper.
