The CERO e-tricycle for adults features a low center of gravity, a supported back rest and front steering. The seat's height, the backrest's height and angle, and the crankset's position are all adjustable. You can adapt the CERO to different leg lengths and find the most comfortable leg angle by increasing and decreasing the distance between the pedals and the seat. The backrest's two lateral supports give extra stability by assisting the back. The forward pedaling motion ensures a perfectly comfortable ride. The users' back, neck, shoulders and wrists are almost completely released from burden thanks to this special cycling position.
People with various medical conditions—spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, brain injuries, etc.— can use the CERO to improve their health due to its safety. The tricycle can also be utilized in physiotherapy programs intended to help patients regain strength and motion in impaired legs. During 20 minutes of cycling with the CERO, each leg is bent more than 500 times. Even when your legs can barely move on their own, this passive movement can help improve blood circulation in your lower extremities.
Since the CERO is designed for people with stability problems and/ or varrying energy levels, there are three different ways to ride: pedaling on your own, pedaling with electric pedal support, or you using 100% electric power assist—this has variable speed levels. You can easily decide which type of support you want during your cycle ride.
The CERO is equipped with a 250 W front hub motor.
