The installation, "scanning," is a piece of augmented architecture that improves the communication possibilities of architecture. It is a media-enhanced minimal space that preserves memory, at least for a glimpse. A wall of scanners randomly scans its environment and captures the user's traces. The opposing wall reflects those traces on monitors where they stay visible until new traces overlap. The wall becomes a communication medium. The cluster of monitors shows the feedback of image and representations. The questions of here and now, of time and space...transitory.
