It's been too long since we've visited Chris Labrooy and his ultra realistic/completely improbable 3D graphics. You may remember his far-fetched work from when we gushed over his typography posters a couple of years ago. At the time, we described his style as "overly perfect"—which is still a perfect description for his work.
Much like our previous coverage of Fabian Oefner's exploded exotic cars, Labrooy's "Auto Aerobics" series features cars in his signature puzzle-like positions.
The twists and turns are nothing short of a circus act. While the cars are completely prodigious in their own right, the background details are what bring on the double-takes—sandy brick buildings, breezy leafs and rusted metal basketball hoop backboards trick our minds into taking in the New York-esque landscape as reality. Maybe Labrooy will do us all a favor and take his designs to the shop and create a line of fantastical car-inspired furniture (like Ronen Tinman's luxury car part pieces).
