Today the World Design Cities Summit kicks off in Seoul, Korea, which is hosting officials from 32 cities around the world. The event is South Korea's first under its World Design Capital 2010 status conferred by the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design.
Strangely, there does not appear to be an official website tracking the event, though there is a complete list of WDCS events here and some (admittedly sparing) coverage of Day One here. Here's to hoping Seoul's city gov gets their act together and dumps some of that Design Capital capital into, uh, web design!
