Never before have so many people sent in an item for us to blog, so in case you've been living under a rock this past week (or haven't worn your respirator while sanding bondo), here it is. The now ultra-famous, ultra-blogworthy, Folding Chair.
*note: Collective conscience strikes again. Let's hope this young gentleman is aware that someone else had designed an entire line of this kind of furniture years ago.

PRODUCTION START I THINK 2002 ...
The best part of this movie is when the girl in jeans holds up the "peace" sign to her chin. HA!
its a nice chair too.
sure it's sturdy when curved together, but is it really sturdy in any other configuration?????
you know, i'd like to see someone sit on this thing when it's expanded more. i can't imagine in holding anyone because of the decrease to it's structural integrity due to the spacing of it's components.
whats with the "ultra" prefix?? "Ultra Famous?????" I mean, its cool and all, but you are making the english lanquage meaningless if you say this chair is ultra famous...i mean...its barely famous.
w0w. its really amazing! here we have some kind of a kids toy that do the same, but it's just pretty, not useful as this... I WANT!
gosh...this is really old! don't know why they are so excited.
The Honeycomb idea is very old, which is OK, it's the purpose/implementation/development/value that sets products apart. I prefer Charles Kaisin 2002 PP version (www.vange.be)
I believe Todd and Stephanie's wall (another purpose initially) was quite new when we both were top-nominated at www.index2005.dk
glad to see core pointing out the fact that this idea is nothing new. I think its blogworthiness is really only for the showmanship factor or the little asian dude dancing around with the chair to make it take its different forms. Design wise though, somesones been there, done that.
