Tel Aviv's DÅG studio is exhibiting a new series of LED lamps at the Salone: the three quirky desk lamps and their wall-mounted cousin are known as the "Fixie" series.

They're made of a flexible silicone—I imagine they're like those bendy rulers (or, perhaps, booklight accessories)—which can be manipulated to adjust the angle of the head.
All the lamps are made out of a silicone casting [with] an inner metal skeleton, a technology which dated back to he 50's with Bruno Munari's "Zizi the monkey." The combination between the flexible material and the metal wire allows them to freeze at the preferred posture.
