What a treat. Watch the official debut of the Eames Lounge Chair by Ray and Charles (well, just Charles really, according to the host) themselves on the Arlene Francis "Home" show in 1956.

This is pretty wild to see. It is weird to watch how they refer to men and women. The host makes the large point about the woman *behind* the man, and it feels like she is really downplaying Ray even though Charles always says "we" and how they designed "together".
Different times I suppose.
