Buratti & Battiston Architects took note of four things we're bound to look at or refer to when we first get up in the morning--a clock, the weather, a TV or radio, and our reflection--and combined these into a single object. Their Hi Mirror is a multimedia wall piece produced by Italy's Valli Arredobagno; unfortunately the company's website is not up yet, so details on the device are slim.

Big iPhone on the wall anyone?
If I remember correctly, I saw a similar product already at CES 2005. Never seen these multimedia mirrors in real use however. Wonder how well they work in the bathroom for example?
This multimedia mirror may work for women. I'll go days, if not weeks, without seeing myself. If something's terribly amiss, my significant other will point it out for me. Although she won't mention the current temperature afterward.
Can we not have a moment alone? Serenity now!!!
But isn't that a good reason to have a news channel or similar displayed on the mirror.. so we aren't forced to look at our messed up selves on a Monday morning.
