Nightshop, a new design label from Rotterdam, sent us their very first release: Lightweight, a double lamp inspired by Chinese paper lanterns and shaped like a dumbbell. The lamp is 90cm long by 35 cm high and contains two light bulbs—we're presuming one per side, but, sadly, there are no pictures of the thing lit up. The entire thing is made from PVC: narrow strips are held to the ribbed frame by brightly colored stitching.

The lamp should be available in select shops in the UK and the Netherlands soon, but for now you'll have to get in touch directly.
