Taking a lot of inspiration from those funny three wheeled scooters and high-speed tilting trains, design graduate Berk Asal came up with the "Triblean" retrofit kit as part of his thesis work.
Berk's addition to the bicycle retrofitting world transforms an ordinary road bike into a rather peculiar 3-wheeler that, on top of being a comfortably stable ride, allows the cyclist to lean into corners for maximum speed and exhilaration.

My bike has only two wheels but somehow I manage to "lean into corners for maximum speed and exhilaration".
why would i want this instead of a bike? seems heavier, bulkier, more difficult to transport and difficult to sort obstacles with.
i could see a reason if it included a basket on the front side, making it more stable for things to be transported, and riding with extra weight on the front.
This is way cool, impressible solution, worth commercializing.
Scott, while 2 wheels is obviously better, it is not a solution or fun for breaking on black ice, or risking a fall as an older cyclist.
Already commercialized. See Saul Griffith's awesome Onya Cycles: http://www.onyacycles.com/
hmmm...hell of a good start! Streamline the design a bit and market it to bike couriers. Or, do a 4 wheel version with pseudo sand tires for dune running?
originally designed for the mature, but a larger user group can be reached by versatile add-ons, baskets, electric motors and so on.
do not forget that this is a fully fuctional prototype. there is only 1.
it is retrofit, it is unlimited

I'm an older cyclist, lost my balance, and had a bad fall leading to
ER visit. A more stable 3 wheeler is a good plus.
