Web Project of the Month

This is where we get to join hands and cheer for some other computer jockey's project, in the hope that people all over the world are doing the same for us.

ID Students use the net in design process

A group of final year Industrial Design and Technology students at Loughborough University, England have been introduced to Internet systems and tools such as email, Usenet News and WWW. The purpose was to investigate the potential of such tools as an aid to them in design project work. The exercise focused on the information gathering and concept evaluation stages common to major student projects. Students searched the WWW for specific information, used email and Usenet News to contact potential product users and sought feedback from displays of work-in-progress prepared on individual WWW pages.
