Submit a themed gift guide to this year’s Core77 Ultimate Gift Guide competition. The theme is up to you, it can be simple, it can be complex, it can be specific or broad. Themes that have won prizes in the past are usually entertaining and are well supported by their individual gift items. Visuals are also key, this is a design site after all.

2022 Core77 Ultimate Gift Guide Rules and Regulations

Dates:

Submit a gift guide before Friday, December 9th, 2022 at 11:59 PM EST.

Vote for guides by Monday, December 12th, 2022 at 10:59 AM EST.

Winners announced and prize fulfillment begins Tuesday, December 13th.

Prize(s):

Guru prize for publishing a Gift Guide — any participant who has submitted, and had published by Core77, a Gift Guide in the years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 or a Gift Guide Item in the years 2020, 2021, will receive one (1) $15 Apple gift card if they have a Gift Guide published this year, 2022, by Core77. Only one Guru prize per user. Adding more guides doesn’t get you more Guru prizes, but does improve your chances with the big prizes. :)

Community Choice winner — the participant with the Gift Guide earning the most community votes will win a $200 MoMA gift card.

Editors' Pick winner — the participant with the Gift Guide judged to have the most creative and well executed theme by Core77 editors will take home a $300 MoMA gift card.

The prize(s) that may be awarded to the eligible winner(s) are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. However, core77 may, if it deems it necessary, replace a prize with another prize of equal or great value. The winner(s) must be reachable through the email address provided in their Core77 profile and respond with their preferred email at which to receive any electronically distributed prize.

Submission, Publishing and Judging Criteria:

Gift Guides must be the original work of the participant. Only gift guide submissions with images, descriptions, links, and pricing for five (5) gifts will be accepted for consideration. Submitted guides are published at the sole discretion of Core77 and are expected to meet the editorial guidelines of the contest. Our internal editorial team will be picking the best guides based on the creativity of their theme, the quality of gift selections, as well as image choice. You’re allowed to make as many guides as you like, so get wild.

Eligibility and Limitations:

Participants and winner(s) can only submit a gift guide by signing into a registered Core77 account. Gift Guides can be created until December 9th, 2022 at 11:59 PM EST. Participants are allowed to submit as many gift guides as they wish. Employees of Core77, regular contributors and immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to win.

Voting:

The Community Choice Winner will be determined through voting. Registered Core77 users can sign in to their account to cast a single vote for any gift guide published. Voting closes on December 12th, 2022 at 10:59 AM EST. The Community Choice Winner will be announced on December 13th, 2022 on the homepage of Core77.com. The more you promote your guides, the better your chances of winning. Now let the fun begin!

By participating, where allowed by law, all participants and winner(s) grant Core77 exclusive permission to use their names, user handles, profile images and likenesses in connection with the promotion of this contest and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.
